Program Overview

Program name: Zovargo Foundation Intern & Volunteer Training Reminders

Zovargo Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, sends SMS text messages to interns and volunteers who provide their mobile number during program onboarding. Messages remind recipients to complete required training modules and quizzes as part of their participation in Zovargo's programs. Messages also include reminders to RSVP for upcoming programs, team trainings, and events, RSVP deadline notices, schedule changes and cancellations, and occasional team announcements.

Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies and may increase during active onboarding or training periods, but typically does not exceed a few messages per week. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Support & Opt-Out

For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at learn@zovargo.org. You can opt out of receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This privacy policy applies to www.zovargo.org, www.animalinternship.com, and www.virtualzoofriends.com, operated and owned by Zovargo, Zovargo LLC, and Zovargo Foundation Inc. • Traffic data: Anonymous information such as pages visited, how services are accessed and used, and referring sites, collected via Google Analytics (privacy info). Used for marketing decisions and to improve website functionality.

• Cookies: May be used to track pages visited and recognize a returning browser. The only personal information a cookie can contain is information supplied by users themselves. Users can disable cookies in their browser.

• Personal information: To access certain services or make donations and purchases, Zovargo requires certain personal information, which may include:

  • Contact information (name, mailing address, email, etc.), used to contact customers and applicants regarding purchases, donations, or applications.

  • Financial information (bank or credit card details), collected only for purchases or donations through third-party payment processing, kept confidential and secure per law.

  • Other information provided via email, social media, text message, forms, surveys, or contests.

• Third-party services: Promotions or advertisements displayed through Zovargo's services may use cookies; Zovargo does not control third-party advertiser data collection. Links to third-party sites are subject to those sites' own privacy policies.

Children and Privacy

Zovargo is especially concerned with protecting the privacy of children who use Zovargo services and supports the principles of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, although nonprofit organizations are not subject to its provisions.

• The consent of a parent or legal guardian is required before Zovargo collects or uses personal information from any guest under 18.

• Personal information collected from children is used only to provide information about participation in programs such as our education programs.

• A child's parent may review the child's personal information at any time, request its deletion, and refuse further collection or use.
